TIPS 2025 - CALL FOR PAPERS

You are invited to submit an abstract for the Trent International Prosthetics Symposium (TIPS), the international conference that focuses solely on upper limb prosthetics. TIPS will be held 19th-21st March 2025 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Information for Authors

TIPS covers all aspects of upper limb prosthetics delivery, from research to clinical experience, and professionals from across the board are welcome to submit a paper for consideration of inclusion in the conference.

We welcome any topic related to upper limb prosthetics, and key themes of the conference will include:

• Assessment/outcomes
• Control (technology and hardware)
• Clinical practice (including occupational therapy)
• Case studies (including complex cases and partial hands)
• Devices (design and use)

Format and Content
We encourage the sharing of results, so please include some form of results in your abstract (rather than only including them in your presentation material). We suggest the following sections within your abstract: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion, References.

Restrictions
Abstracts should be no more than 500 words in total and can include graphics, diagrams or photos. References should be included in the reference section, where appropriate. Figures should be uploaded via the figure upload portal: https://tinyurl.com/tips2025figures.

Publishing
Free paper abstracts may be published online at the discretion of the organising committee. If you do not wish your abstract to be published please ensure you tick the appropriate box on the submission form.

Timeline
The deadline date for receipt of abstract submissions has been extended to 14th November 2024. You will be notified of the outcome by 31st December 2024.

Only abstracts submitted via the abstract submission form will be considered by the organising committee.

All accepted abstracts must be presented in person at the conference.
